In September 2007, my wife and me had a brake at Butlins Minehead. This was the first time we had been this way. We found the locals were very friendly, the setting was such a joy to visit. There are so many things to do and visit from Minehead, with in driving distance. We enjoyed it so much we decided to go into buying our own holiday caravan at Butlins minehead, & this is how it began:

I’ve been to all the Butlins sites, but found Minehead to be more peaceful & unspoilt.

The beach is just across the road from the complex, & every thing you need is close by....

Here is the view of the lake right out side caravan:

If you walk to the lake, you will notice a pub. this pub has a perfect setting with a balcony built over the edge of the lake. Perfect for them hot summer evenings.
